The 23rd District Agricultural Association is home to the Contra Costa County Fair, which has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors for over seventy-five years. The Fairgrounds celebrates all that is best in Contra Costa County while maintaining the community ‘s agricultural heritage.

Mission Statement

The mission of the 23rd District Agricultural Association is to promote agriculture education and to provide and support a safe community gathering place.

Vision Statement

The Contra Costa County Fairgrounds is vital to its communities by building upon the past to provide for the future.

Contra Costa Event Park is located in Antioch, CA (East Bay Area), just a short distance from Highway 4. The Fairgrounds are located close to several facilities and companies, such as hotels, restaurants and shopping centers. Their facility is also situated just a few blocks from the Antioch Marina, which provides fishing and water recreation activities. The prices of facilities are very fair and can accommodate any budget.

Rental facilities include:

  • A grouping of three 8,000 square foot halls
  • Concert Pavilion with dressing rooms
  • RV areas with full hookups
  • Beautiful B.B.Q. facility in a park setting

R.V. Park

The Contra Costa County Fair R.V. Park is located along its fairgrounds at 1201 W 10th St in Antioch, CA. Its facilities provide a total of 18 fully connected spaces, including electrical, water and sewer. The fee is $35 a day, payable in advance for the amount of days of your stay. They’re not taking reservations. Many of the spaces are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Heritage Foundation

The mission of the Heritage Foundation is to establish a level of excellence in the facilities and grounds of the Contra Costa County Fair by providing support for capital improvement opportunities, educational opportunities and scholarships. The mission of the Heritage Foundation is to protect and enrich the heritage of the Contra Costa County Fair by continuing to grow it into a prime destination.
