Murray Elementary School

Murray Elementary School provides quality education in a safe and caring family-like environment and is committed to providing all students with the behavioral and academic skills to reach their fullest potential and to become responsible life-long learners which are evident in our belief statements.

The small class sizes and seasoned instructors provide a great learning atmosphere that enables our students to achieve academic success. They work hard every day to maintain our school’s long history of academic excellence, which dates back to 1872.

At Murray Elementary School, they believe that all students will receive the best possible education and be provided with caring staff to support them on their journey. Our belief statements reflect this point of view as well: “We value each student.”

For the community life-long learners who have diverse needs such as learning differences or English proficiency–to learn together in an environment designed just right; where they feel safe from harm while still being challenged academically at every turn.”

At Murray Elementary School, they love the school and want to make sure you know about all of the great things going on there. Here are three things we’re excited about this year: 

• The new math curriculum is really fun and easy to understand.

•  The fifth graders get iPads that they use in class every day- it’s cool because they can take them home with them, too.

• They have a lot of games planned for recess so kids will be able to play outside while still learning. And if you don’t believe me, come by sometime during the week or stop by on Friday morning before school starts-we’ll show you around.
