Hidden Lakes Park is a twenty six hectare park located in Morello Avenue and Chilpancingo parkway in Martinez, California which has a 2.9 kilometer moderately trafficked loop trail located near Martinez, California. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primarily used for hiking, walking, and running.The hidden Lakes Park has a sand volleyball court, multi-use field, jogging track, concession building, and restrooms. There are picnic areas in this amazing park which are first come first serve basis.

Basically the Hidden Lakes Park is a three in one park according to park-goers.This urban park is huge. The park has two sides which are the Morello Avenue side and the Center Avenue side.

The Morello side has a track and field, basketball court, baseball fields, volleyball court, picnic benches, restrooms and two different play areas. The Morello side of the park can be reached by using hiking trails or driving and parking in its large parking lot.

The center Avenue side has a great play structure and a huge and wide open grass area which is suitable for young people and young at heart. The best area for Toddlers and young children is the entrance on Center Avenue.  There are often plenty of children to play with for those parents who have a single child. The Hidden Lakes park is well maintained. There are great hiking trails suitable for children and adults. 

According to one park-goer, ”Sports fans will prefer the morello side of the park as that is where you will find baseball diamonds and basketball. Both areas are great for picnics. The small play area on the Morello side will not hold the attention of toddlers over 18 mos for very long and won’t offer as many opportunities for socialization as the Center Ave play area.”.

This park will not disappoint people’s needs. People of all ages are encouraged to come see what it has to offer. This park is suitable for sports enthusiasts, kids who want to play outdoors, granny and grandpas who want to hang out with others or for people who want to get sun-kissed skin. Just be willing to explore from both entrances to find the best fit for your family and interest.
