Rankin Park

The Rankin Park is a 41 hectare park located at the west end part of Buckley street, California,94553. In this park, swimming and diving complex, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, lighted softball field, restrooms, playground and gazebo are all made available for people who want to chill outdoors. 

Over the years, the city’s administration has been doing a good job in improving the park. The park itself is beautiful and most importantly clean. There are a couple of different picnic areas that are available to rent. Some picnic areas have kitchens that people can use to prepare their lunches or snacks. The tables in the picnic areas are quite large which can accommodate a large group of friends and family. 

There are grassy areas for people to play catch, football, volleyball. Children can even play frisbees too. There is also a playground to keep the kids occupied while the adults get their skin sun-kissed. Bathrooms are in a central location between picnic areas which are strategically built to accommodate both genders. The parking has never been an issue for there are numerous parking spaces. 

The playground is all new and has cool designs which is a great place for the kids to get the wiggles out. The landscape back onto the hill with all the seating and Barbecue pits are extremely clean. The pits themselves are double sized and easy to use with a crank to elevate the grill to your preferred height above the coals. The baseball field is also clean and well-maintained. There are multiple public pools as you enter the park’s grounds. There are multiple hiking trails up the hill sides. 

The Rankin park houses the Rankin Park Aquatic Center. This aquatic center offers swimming lessons, lap swim and water aerobics, pool parties and lifeguard classes good for children and children alike. The pool itself is large and attractive, perfectly situated in the park. Furthermore, the pool is well-maintained and well-guarded by professional lifeguards. 

Indeed, the Rankin Park is a great park for sports fanatics, children, and adults. There are a lot of activities that can be done while in the park. You can either play sports, swim, play with the kids or just lie down on the green grasses while reading books or catching the heat of the sun.  So go out and explore more.
